Our Events

Over the past 17 years Prestige Purchasing has built up an extensive database of key influencers within the Hospitality sector.

Utilising our trusted and known brand we host a series of focused events across the year to engage with our contacts. The events are purposely not a salesy environment which puts the candidates at ease, giving the opportunity to build strong relationships with each individual at the event.

We have found that this soft touch approach to engaging with our contacts gives us the chance to really tailor our approach to each individual business and their needs. Ultimately this gives a high conversion success rate to the pipeline.

The main events that are hosted by Prestige Purchasing are:
1. Breakfast Briefings
2. Annual Food Inflation Event

We offer the opportunity for selected partner businesses to sponsor these events with total exclusivity, therefore giving them access to quality face to face time and contact details for these key decision makers within the industry. This allows you to also benefit from the soft touch sales approach and build relationships with the people that ultimately would sanction any potential business.

Sponsor our Breakfast Briefings

Prestige Purchasing’s Breakfast Briefings are typically held on a quarterly basis at The Andaz Hotel Liverpool Street London. The attendees are selected and invited personally by our CEO David Read ensuring that we are engaging with budget holders within our target market.

The event is held over a 2 hour period from 8am to 10am with up to 20 industry leaders.

Typically the event agenda will read as per below:

  • 15 minutes of arrival drinks and networking
  • 60 minute presentation over breakfast
  • 45 minutes of networking before leaving

We encourage the presentation aspect of the event to be very interactive and often the delegates will interact with the presenter and each other. This allows us to gain a deep understanding of what is influencing their business making for a better impact when we follow up with the individual after the events.

Sponsor our Annual Food Inflation event

The flagship of our events programme. The Christmas Food Inflation Event is now a much anticipated date in the calendar of our industry.
Now in its 5th year the Food Inflation Event gets the largest attendance numbers and the most publicity with National, Regional and Industry press providing coverage.

The typical attendance numbers are 80+ and this is growing year on year.
The purpose of this event is to review the impact Food Inflation has had on our industry in the year gone by and for Prestige Purchasing to provide a forecast on what we feel will impact in the year ahead. Alan Clarke of Scotiabank, the city’s leading expert on inflation, also provides insight into the impacts on the global economy. Due to the nature of the topic and it being one that affects all in the industry this event is very well attended, with key decision makers from businesses the scale of Sodexo to smaller operators such as Abokado attending.

The event is hosted near to Christmas after office hours, giving us the opportunity to have drinks on arrival before the presentation along with a canape and drinks reception period after. This means that the potential to spend significant relationship building time with contacts is much greater than at other events.

The PR and Media activity surrounding this event also gives a great opportunity to promote partner business within the event itself and the ensuing promotional activity. Last year this event was featured in all the industry publications and a selection of the national press covered aspects of our report.
