In the 1990s companies spent millions implementing large and complex IT solutions around the purchase-to-pay process. Multi-Buy is a single dedicated online portal through which clients are able to place orders on all suppliers. It works from a simple catalogue of all products, suppliers and prices, with the capability to allow free format orders. From this, single “shipments” generate orders on multiple suppliers – in formats appropriate to their technical capability (CSV file, e-mail, fax). With online order acceptance from suppliers, online goods receipting by users and automated invoicing, a 3-way match is created without the need for the usual manual paperchase, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
First class and fully flexible management information on orders placed, branch compliance with nominated supply and supplier fulfilment performance is produced.
All of the above is available as a managed service on a low monthly rental, with no long term contracts.
