Nigel Draper

Nigel started his career in Logistics and Shipping working for a freight forwarder where one of their main contracts was shipping supplies to the Middle East. Nigel’s experience in distribution started by working for companies who specialised in supplying food and cut flowers to wholesale markets. From here Nigel moved to Geest where he ran one of their businesses, serving the food service sector on the south coast.

In 1998, Nigel joined Whitbread. He initially worked in Food Logistics however, he then moved to Procurement where he looked after a variety of different categories before transferring to Costa Coffee to head up their Procurement and Supply Chain.

During his time at Costa, Nigel set up their UK distribution and developed the initial stages of their international supply chain.

Graduating with a distinction in his MBA from Cardiff Business School, Nigel has since spent time employed in Food Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Pharmaceuticals. This has culminated in becoming Client Services Director at Prestige Purchasing, a position whereby his breadth of experience and knowledge can be utilised to the utmost benefit of the company.

In his spare time Nigel is learning to fly and has accumulated over 40 hours of time including 6 solo flights. Nigel is a great lover of food and cuisine from all nationalities, a factor which is also a great motivator to go to the gym.
